Lab group has moved to New Zealand! And we have undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships availabl

Exciting news! Early this year (March 2019), I and my lab group moved from ANU in Australia to the Department of Marine Science at the University of Otago, in southern New Zealand! UoO is a university with particular strengths in Antarctic, marine and evolutionary science, so is a perfect fit for our research programme.

The move comes as a result of a Rutherford Discovery Fellowship, but is a permanent shift.

The Australian National University has been a great place to work for the past six years, and I look forward to maintaining ties with researchers at ANU and elsewhere in Australia - and indeed, some of my group will continue at ANU on projects started there. Meanwhile, the move opens up many new opportunities for projects, students and collaborations!

I have some scholarship funding available for high-achieving students at undergraduate (summer studentships and Honours) and Masters (research year) levels. If you are interested, please email me, including your CV, undergraduate and postgraduate transcripts, and an outline of your main research interests and motivation for working in my group.

I am, as always, also happy to hear from potential PhD students. The University of Otago has many PhD scholarships available, including for international students.
